She is trained in visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, advanced myofascial remodelling and basic lymphatic drainage. She has a holistic approach to massage where a thorough assessment is used to discover the source of the problem rather than simply treating the symptomatic area. A combination of a thorough health history, assessment, treatment through manual therapy and patient centered care can be expected. Anita has a high rate of success with minimising symptoms for TMD, hip pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, nerve entrapment symptoms and chronic headaches. Other conditions such as dizziness, anxiety and depression, trouble swallowing and sleep issues can also be managed with manual osteopathy. Additionally, Anita uses craniosacral techniques to address stress and target the nervous system to introduce a deeper level of relaxation.
Anita works at the East Van clinic on Thursday afternoon, and Saturday mornings alongside a number of excellent and skilled practitioners including traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, massage therapy and manual osteopathy.
